Air conditioner condensation

I had a leak in the inside of my Class C Thor Chateau in the ceiling. After numerous applications of Dicor and Eternabond tape I was finally able to fix it. I put a thick application of Dicor covered over wth Eternabond around the air conditioning unit on the roof. Now I'm wondering if condensation from the air conditioner will cause a problem since it does not have anyplace to flow away from the unit because of the thick layer of Dicor. Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I would say that the condensation most definitely needs to be able to run off of the roof.

Welcome to the forum!

We're sorry that it took having a problem for you to join use, but we do hope that you will stay engaged on the board after you have a solution.

The condensation must a route to escape and drain. If not, it will be a perpetual dry season water leak and may leach into the sublayers and wick away in them rather than displaying itself as a lean.
