Air conditioner filter
Help. Out near big bend just noticed my 15000 BTU roof air conditioner filter is halfway gone. Nothing near here for severa hundred miles. Any ideas. There is a walmart about 90 miles away. Thinking of going there and try to form one out of a home filter.

Yeah or a True Value HW, if you could find one of those filters made for window units. They're usually easy to trim down.
Good luck.

I did just that, found exactly what I needed, trimmed it down and it works perfectly. Thanks.

I'm curious where that half that disappeared went.

My guess would be colloquial for nearly worn out, not necessarily a portion stuck up in the evaporator coil? I could be wrong though.
