Air conditioner spitting this out

Anyone have ideas as to what’s happening ?
2011 Jayco Melbourne, second owner, idk how old the ac unit is.
Two days ago, ac began spitting out these foil looking pieces. Not all the time, but I’m sure it’s not good…😞. I’m in North Carolina, ac a must!
I’m trying to include a picture, but don’t think I did it right…
Can someone walk me through that process? I know picture would help. The photo image on the thread asks for image url, guess I’m technologically inept

Spit out from the interior side or the roof side?
Sorta looks like a galvanize coating peeling off.

Ok, I see your picture now!

Is that stuff thin, maybe a label placed inside the unit that is just now falling apart?

It looks a little like aluminum duct tape. If it is, mostlikly the glue broke down and the tape is tareing apart.

Yes, Very thin . Would be so thankful to have it be a label!
What if it is aluminum duct tape? Do I need to go up on roof to inspect? It’s raining cats and dogs today, gonna have to wait…

It looks to me like your internal ducts are breaking down. the next thig will be that the ducts separate, and some vents will not get air. And your cool air will be spilling out into the attic space. DR

It's a good idea to do a yearly inspection of the roof and a/c. Take the cover off, inspect, and clean the condenser coil if need be. But, I don't think that's going to help in finding what this aluminum paper like stuff is. For now, take the inside a/c cover off and see if you can see anything up in there.

That sure looks like the same stuff I had. It turned out to be the foil tape from the ducts got old and the air just blew it down in bits. I went to Walmart and picked up foil tape and re did the inside.
Just took the 4 screws out and as soon as the cover came down, I could see where it came from.

If has a Coleman Mach unit and that foil is the lining in the blower duct in the unit. I had two doing this and I went up top and disassembled the nit pulling the blower out. After I cleaned up the mess of peeling foil, I covered the housing with a high-quality foil tape for A/C units use. It took some cutting and fitting, but it solved the problem.

It is a Coleman-Mach. Took off the internal roof cover and discovered just what you described, failing foil on the blower duct work. Am trying to clean it up and replace the foil. I’m 70, not excited about climbing around on the roof😬. May have to get service appt. Thank you for your advice!
