Any experiences with Class C roof repair?
We have a 2021 Thor Chateau 22E. While doing my monthly roof inspection, I found a section of the roof that has "popped up" a bit (about a 1 ft x 1 ft section). I can feel where the plywood is no longer glued to the foam underneath. The TPO is not cut or worn in that area, and my seals around the vents and whatnot appear good. The wood does not appear soft at all. I live in the south where it gets HOT - and though my coach is outside, I do cover it when unused for more than two weeks.
I'm planning to take it to a local RV place with a good reputation to evaluate it. Just wondering if anyone else had an experience like this and what the outcome was.

Pretty sure wood not glued to the roof foam, more likely chip board screwed to the framing? Likely chip board topped with 1/8" Lauan to give a smoother finish and screwed together and one layer of the Lauan came unglued from other layers. Easy cure would be to install screws to pull down tight, cover heads w/ foil tape, then cover w/ rounds or squares of Eternabond. A PINLESS MOISTURE METER might be useful to survey for moisture as a cause vs just heat?

I agree with post #2.
A picture or 2 might help. Be sure there's no leaks.
Unless a repair shop can give you a reasonable cost to repair I would do it myself as described in post 2. Be sure to follow the directions on your surface application of eternabond

WOW! I literally was just on the roof of my Coachman. I am in Florida. The seam right where the cabover starts all the way across I can feel the plywood move when I step on it. Its popped up just enough to feel it. Like it needs to be re-screwed down.
Same as you my Roof sheathing is not cut at all. It was built in 2016.

I have a similar issue. My problem is straight across the roof right where the Cabover starts and the roof slopes towards the front. My TPO is in good shape. I guessed its simple as screwing it down and then cover screws with Dicor. However, how do I determine exactly where the framing is and how wide? MY guess is that the seam is centered across the frame support.

Is walking on the roof a good idea?

As least for Thor's, you can create an account on their website, enter your VIN, and get all the documents (including schematics) that show you some of that info. It may not be in enough detail to answer your questions, but it might get you close

It's just the top portion of the roof, and there's no sagging, so I'm not concerned.
