Atwood 8531-iv dclp furnace gas leak at manifold

I discovered a gas leak at the manifold of my furnace. Can the valves leak?

What do you mean by 'manifold'?
How did you 'discover a gas leak'?

Yes RV propane gas valves can leak....but remember LP System Pressure is only 0.39psi (11"WC)
So rare for gas valve to leak thru

I traced to manifold connected to valves using gas detector and liquid leak detection. Also I did this by taking the valve assembly outside the RV and connecting to the gas line. The manifold is past the valves.

Received new valve and installed, no leak and no gas smell. Started furnace with no problems.
