I received my Rear View Safety camera as a gift so I had to go with that system.... I utilized their windshield mount arm that I ordered after receiving the gift. It attaches the monitor right where the rear view mirror is mounted. I routed the cabling through the windshield trim.

Entire set up took just about a half hour and looks good. Monitor functions for me just like a normal rear view mirror.

I don't have any pics with me but this was one of the first things I added. Replaced the Axxera with a Pioneer Android Auto stereo and redirected the camera to its own monitor.

I installed it directly to the topside of the dash. Just to the right of the hump on the flat surface. I angled it towards the driver's seat.

Didn't have to drill any holes. When reinstalling the front dash I realized there was some flex to the material. Cable fits and doesn't get pinched.

Mine came mounted over radio, with dash panel removed, the (small) bracket screws were under the edge of the panel and bracket bent to allow panel to fit properly. Looked like bracket shape designed for other mounting, but thin enough for easy bending/ mounting. Later replaced with new BOSS double-DIN CD/Radio/Video; NO RADIO or other functions while using rear-view while traveling, (but we were not using radio/ CD anyway while traveling)

Your welcome. Glad to help That option sure beats drilling holes. The trim is pretty flexible on top, and a simple removal of the grab handle lets you pull off the side trim. I can post a pick later if you need it as i am picking mine up today for a Mid-Ohio race weekend...

My Voyager came with a suction cup that we put on and off as needed. We put it back in the box when staying in a place for 1-4 weeks.
