I can't remember seeing any stored RV with slides out!!!

Personally I would never leave the slides out because:

a: When the slides are in, my RV is more wind- and waterproof.

b: I would not want the weight of the slide-outs to put unnecessary strain on the slide-out rails, brackets etc..

c: My slide-out toppers would be unnecessarily exposed to harmful UV rays.

d: My slide-out toppers would be flapping unnecessarily in the wind.

e: My RV with the slides out would take up to much space on the RV storage site and I would probably have to pay for the extra space that I take up.

Come to think of it I can't find one single reason why I would want to leave the slide-out's out, but I am sure someone will come up with one or two.

I have no idea but...

I have no idea why but at our storage lot in Colorado there are a few with the slides out. I was wondering why also. Maybe someone is living in there???

Most likely someone is either living in it or visiting it often and does not feel like operating the slides. I would put them in anyways because its good to slide them in and out occasionally. Use em or lose em they always say.

'Tip Outs' are a little different than 'slides', and yes, I see 'tip outs' left 'out' all the time through the winter here.. never slides though unless they are 'wintering over' in the rig..
