Big Class C Allison Transmission

Anybody have a class C with a Allison 3200 transmission?
Does it have more than one mode like regular and ecomomy and how do you shift between the two.
My Allison 3200 seems to shift early and I can not find another mode.
No I don,t have a owners manual. thanks

Here's a link to Allison Transmission. With your serial number you can find the information you seek.

In addition, here's a link to the 3000/4000 series RV manual.

If your shift panel has a MODE button and the light is illuminated, you are in the fuel saving mode. To shift in and out of this mode, you press the mode button. A quick call to Dynamax tech service could have answered you question.

3200 series info that I downloaded ( dated 2010 )

Says secondary shift schedule .
Selected with the push of a button .

But the brochure doesn't show the shift pad , or give the button location.

The Allison manual I linked shows, I think, 6 or more different shift controls. Some have a mode button, some don't.

Since you're on the road, perfect time to peer underneath at a rest stop or campground and find the transmission serial number. It might also be in your documentation for the vehicle. A plate, about 3" X 4" is visible on the passenger side of the transmission. Either lay there and copy or read it out to someone standing by or take a photo of the plate and read it later.

I have the mode button but no little light
I don't think it has two modes.
It could but only if the manufacture orders it
It is in 5th gear at 35 and 6 gear at 45, makes it hard to merge into hi speed traffic just fall on its face unless you manually shift and almost red line each shift
I have drove 40' diesel pusher with 380hp that had more go
I pulled a chevy 2500 from chokoloskee, fl to parkersburg, wv on I77 I toped Fancy Gap mt in Va at 45 keeping it at 2000rpm
Its a 8.9 cummins @350hp I think cummins will up it to 400HP. Iam going to look into that.

My 4000 is in 5th up to at least 55 mph. But then I'm only turning 1330 at 60 mph too.
The ISC in my '02 DSDP was turning 1650 at 60 but still upshifted at about the same MPH.
