Black Tank Replacement - Jayco Seneca
The sewage holding tank on my 2008 Jayco Seneca has to be replaced do to a leak in the side of the tank. The tank is also buckled, so I'm not interested in repairing the hole. The problem that I'm having is that I can't see a way to access the vent line connection to the tank. I think it is accessed from the top after removing an interior panel. I'm also not sure how to remove the dump piping without cutting it to bits first, and if I do that, how do I reinstall the new tank with piping intact?
Having a knowledgeable repair facility do the work is the obvious solution, but it seems that the knowledgeable ones are so busy they won't take appointments, and the ones that are available don't seem knowledgeable. There are so many corners that could be cut on this job that would leave me with a stinky rig, and that's why I'd prefer to do the job myself to ensure that i'ts done right... though it will take me some time to figure it out. Any and all help, drawings, etc are appreciated. Thanks!
