Body mount.

Found a body mount just laying between frame rail and fuel cell on my 2012 Fleetwood Jamboree. Fleetwood told me to call Ford. Looks like consumer (me) caught in the middle again.

Nice, looks like you found the "free extra" mount" . I think (and I could be wrong) that may be a mount they would install on the frame before they put the house on so Ford may tell you to call Fleetwood. They could state that it was on the chassis when delivered to Fleetwood and must have got knocked off when the house was put on.

I think you are right. I was tracing a rear camera video problem and found this mount. The video line ran right under that "extra mount". Ended up that the video line was pinched under the engine cowling. Found some "extra screws" laying on the motor. Fleetwood, Ford, and dealer need help in quality control department I think. Added some pictures, hopefully it shows pinched line and screws on engine.

Wow, looks like you got the deluxe extra parts kit . Is that a rock next to the bolt on the 3rd image? If that mount in your earlier image is close to actual size it may me a rubber bushing the mounts under the hood to keep the hood from bouncing when latched. There should be from 2 to 4 of them around the perimeter of the hood. They are either mounted to the hood or the body where the hood would meet it. If you find you have an even set (2 or 4) then you truly may have an extra. The tech installing them probaly had a handful, put them down, installed what he needed to, and then just forgot to pick up the extra. Same with the screws, just did not pick up the extras.

Its an actual body mount, the cab is mounted to four of them. It was back next to fuel cell, good twenty feet from hood area. Pretty sure it was extra, I am gonna look again today. Thanks for the thought.
