Change in plans

We were planning a trip to Grand Canyon September and October but a wedding of a family friend is conflicting. We are now thinking maine /New England. We know we need to get on reservations etc now but do you guys have suggestions on where to stay, things to do (beside eat lobster)

We went through there a year ago. Acadia National Park was a high point.

Check out Sandy Shores (Sandy Shores RV Resort - Home) in Warren Maine. Its a great location just south of Rockland. The sites are privately owned and a few owners will rent them out. Nice large sites with 50 amp full hookups.....Bruce

We have been able to make reservations in kennebunkport rockport and bar harbor as well as on the way up. Backroads from NC . Any suggestions about what to do besides eat a lot of lobster?

Where to say? No clue,,but what to do? Historic Salem, Boston freedom walk, USS Constitution. Heck LL Bean in Freeport ME is worth a visit.
