I'm between a rock and a hard place, my Axis looks like a class A but has a class C E450 chassis under it.
Actually, I'm just trying to help by sharing my half vast knowledge .

Because class C is where all the fun people are?

I visit here because a number of class C's have the same drivetrain as my class A and any chance I have to learn something helpful I'm going to have a look. Plus stuff like a Norcold fridge is a Norcold fridge, no matter what chassis it's in.

Because class C is where all the fun people hang out? Well, that's what I heard.

I actually visit here because a number of class C's have the same drivetrain as my class A. Always up for a little good info, no matter where I find it. Plus stuff like an issue with rooftop AC crosses all chassis lines.

Well, I'm a convert.
Had a Jayco Seneca 33ss (C, or super C) and converted to a Pace Arrow 37c (A)
Did it because the DW could no longer slither down into the cab of the Seneca, and IF she got in there the seat required her to basically sit in one position with very little foot room for long periods at a time. = not good........

Now in the Pace Arrow, she can be on the same level as the "house" and swivel her seat and watch the world go by from her panoramic wind shield. = much better.

Systems wise, they are both a house on wheels, so the plumbing, electrical, and furniture are about the same, so my maintenance chores remain the same too.

With about the same milage I now get to spend about 40 cents less per gallon (diesel vs gas) on fuel, so I consider the change a win-win.

Happy wife = happy life.

Well, I've turned into a grumpy old man so there are times when I want to visit with people that I consider my peers. I find more of them in the class A forum.

I don't have a favorite forum. I visit several of them because most RVs have a lot in common and there are times when I might can answer or offer an opinion. Not that I'm prejudiced are anything, but I do tend to skip over diesel threads for the simple reason that I pretty much nothing about diesels.

Well said. We are all irv2 members, like a big family, we need to help each other.

Years ago when we showed up at my first FMCA rally, I was told that I could not come in. After much much ado about nothing, they let me in because I was a lowly vender that happened to not want or need a vehicle that cost $7000.00 to put tires on.

Yep, we are here to help all RVers no matter how much their tires cost or their fridge preference. We are all in this together
