Some very valid points on the cramped cab on the Ford class C's...especially passenger side, plus crawling in and out from the cab back to the coach. The cab is included in the length measurement.
If I were to gt another MoHo, I'd go back to a small class A. You get a lot more room and a higher cargo carrying capacity. With the A, you can turn the pilot and copilot chairs around and use them as part of the living area where on a C, the cab is mostly storage and useless as part of the living area. But the C generally has more sleeping area if you get the overhead bunk.
The C will give you a false sense of security in driving as it feels like a van, but much longer and they are generally 100" wide. My wife prefered the class C as for driving, but I liked the class A due to the good road view.
Best thing to do is to head down to a local dealer and driveboth class A's and class C's and see what fits you and your intended use.
Have fun looking. I'd rather be looking at RV's but we are looking for another house now.
