Can’t same most recommended but I installed Equalizer system on my Sprinter. I had a great experience having mine installed. I drove up there on a Monday got there just as they were closing. They showed me where to park and plug in for the night. Watched Monday night football. The next Morning a couple of techs were knocking on the door and asked if I was ready. By noon I was out the door headed home. Since then it has been flawless. I did have a question which they answered right away. I do believe Equalizer Systems is the lightest of the jacking systems coming in at less than 150 pounds. That in itself is important on a Sprinter Chasis.

I have the HWH and am very happy. There are three systems I’m aware of HWH, Equalizer, and Big Foot. I’ve heard good things for each and advocates for each. Not sure there is a “best”.

We have a Bigfoot on our View. No issues in 2 years of use. There are several nice features such as the system was designed for Sprinter Chassis and a function that prevents twisting the frame. Although the feature preventing frame twist does not work if adjusting 1 leveler.

Are leveling systems required or advantageous on small class C's? If yes, do some Class C's come with them installed from the factory? Are they hydraulic or manual?

Thanks All

You’ll get tons of opinions on whether they are needed. Many don’t feel the added weight and costs are worth it. I added them to my View (HWH) and find they make set up/tear down quicker and worth it to me. Since I don’t use a toad, that’s important to me. Starting a couple years ago, you can order them as a factory option (Equalizer) on the View/Navion. I think the Tiffin Wayfarer has them either standard or an option, but not sure. They are hydraulic.

Is a leveling system actually needed on a Class C for staying in RV parks? I know that an RV refrigerator needs to be pretty level and I guess if you have slides, but is there any other need for levelers? With my 25 foot Class A years ago I never used any type of leveling system.
