I need to replace tires on 28’ class c - E450 Ford.
Have Michelin’s which are fine but aged out.
Recommendations so far are Firestone ht2 and Hancook Dynapro.
I welcome any suggestions based on experience with your tires. Thanks

I originally had Michelins on my 28 foot Class C, and they aged and cracked out because it was in storage for number of years. Exactly a year ago I had 6 Toyo Open Country H/T load E put on, $979 out the door installed. Very happy with them. I think they handle much better than the Michelins did.

dang thats an excellent price for toyos open country ht load e's....

are u in cali? it seems as tho they are super expensive here...

we have dynapro and have been on the rv for a few yrs, seem okish...

I'm running Michelin XPS RIB on our E450 and are very happy with them.

Another set of Toyo's here. Only 1200 miles so far so can't really speak long term. I am very happy with them as far as ride, handling and noise, no bad weather yet.

Yes, in Southern California. The shop that put them on also serves local large RV dealership.

I also had them recently put on some Coopers on my truck, and they were also a really good deal.

wow cre to give me the name of the place? id love to get those tires at that price!!

hope cooper fixed their recent sets...there were a lot recalled within the past few months....

Thank you all for your responses.
Another recommendation is for Mastercraft Courser HXT load range E. Supposed to be good for wet road conditions.
Any comments + or -?

It's called Tires Warehouse in Fountain Valley, CA. Tucked away in a business area at Euclid and the 405, but they have all kinds of space for RVs so it's really easy to access.

Yeah I saw that Cooper recall, but it apparently doesn't apply to the ones I bought for my truck. By the way I'm camping down near Julian in the RV the past few days, and the tires really handled great coming down here. Very windy roads.

I replaced my michelin ltx ms2 tires with michelin agilis cross climate and they seem to ride very well. No real issues. They do cost more than the brands you mentioned.

Yeah if you don't live nearby, maybe you can get a quote and see if you can get a price match. I'm back home now, and I took an even windier way home, and they handled great. By the way I put on a $28 Monroe steering stabilizer a few months ago, and even though it's not expensive, it really works well. It's a straight replacement for the stock E450 stabilizer. Mine was beyond shot.

When I had a Class C I used to buy the house brand from Discount Tire. Don't recall what they were called, but they were always better than the Firestones that came from the Ford assembly plant.
