Class C with the F550 truck front?
I am looking for a Class C with these specs:
F350, F450 or F550 front / chassis. Or GM, or Dodge as long as it's a truck front, not an "E-series" van front. Listing F550 as it seems to be the most common truck front.
Around 25'. Up to 28' but no less than 24'.
Probably gas engine, like V10 or Hemi. Though I am not completely opposed to diesel.
Budget: Around 40K. Not opposed to getting used. 5-8 years old is OK.
What I am looking for is almost Super C except these are exorbitantly expensive and huge. I need a compact, inexpensive, 25' super-C. Though I think F350 or F450 should work just as well, only if they made them into Class Cs.

Pretty much a unicorn. $40k won't buy any Super C in the 5 - 8 year old range. There weren't any that short. You can check for a 15 year old Seneca, 8.1 Chevrolet V8, but still probably $65k or more and 35 ft long.
I suggest looking in RVTrader.com for more realistic parameters

I don't really mean "Super C", I meant like Super C. I don't need the weight capacity nor the suspension.
Any simple 25' would work with a F350 front and 1 ton floating axles. Same for F450 and F550. Isata 5 is kind of what I am talking about but not that big or expensive.
This below is precisely what I want except they have been out of business for years.
Does anyone else make anything similar?

I think a Class C based on a F-450 would be great, but at one point in Class C History the powers-that-be decided to base them on a E450 and E350. Probably because you have less of a snout on the front end, so you can have a longer structure built on it, without increasing the overall vehicle length.
Also at this point in Covid Shutdown History, $40,000 is probably only get going to get you a good used E350 or E450-based 25 to 28 foot motorhome, if you're lucky. But again, I get it. Would be much more room in the cab, and far easier to access the engine.

Thor built/builds some small units on the F350 platform. I believe most, of not all, went into rental fleets. They do get sold to individuals used though.

Probably smaller than you're after? They call the same thing a "19G" when it's on an E350, pretty short.

It is an interesting option. It says 23'. Which is a bit atypical, they are usually 22' or 25'. At least on the E-platform.
