I hope you at least test drive it and see how you like it.
Sounds like a great deal! I will be interested to keep up with your impressions as you folks break in your unit and develop likes/dislikes! Thanks especially for your handling/performance impressions. Last week I discovered a lot in my area has taken a used 2016 Coachman Freelander 20cb into their used inventory. Asking price, which I know is naturally going to be jacked way up, is hilariously 2,500 more than a new 2017 that is sitting on a lot not more than an hour north of me. These dealers are nuts sometimes. I guess somebody rolls in and pays once in awhile or they wouldn't do it.

It is like a house going on the market. List it high then come down till it starts drawing interest. Then you know what the price should be. And since they paid almost nothing for it, they can keep it on the lot for as long as it takes.
The dealership I used keeps the motorhome for a minimum of 3 business days to go through all the features to make sure they are all working as they should be. So I won't take possession until next Saturday due to work schedule. Plus they give you 4 hours of instruction on every feature throughout the coach.

As far as I was told, they are not delivering any new motorhomes to dealers until the 2018s are released. They will be listed high until they are not selling at the end of season. So you have plenty of time to research all models you are interested in.
