Coleman (airtex ) Chill Grille

Most of us class C owners are stuck with single a/c most are the 15k Coleman units.die to the configuration of the ceiling roof vents I could not keep the front living area cooler than the rear. Ordered the chill grille from PPL in Houston, easy install, only had to modify the blocker plate that separates the intake from discharge, well it does work well in getting more cool air to the front of RV. It does reduce the intake noise somewhat,it does pump a lot of cold air out of the open grille. I checked the temps before and after install and saw better performance with the chill grille ,I had 20 degree drop from intake to exhaust ( measured at the closest output register) ,with the chill grille I get a 24 degree drop. I am in south texas and need all the a/c that I can get.Bottom line does it work. Yes it does!

I have one of those as standard equipment in my 17' Navion. They really do help cool the unit when it is really hot out. Good addition if you don't already have one.

Apparently this was not available back in 07 we have a pristine 07 chassis with a 08 Fleetwood tioga box that we purchased last July only had 6k miles, garage kept west texas unit, never lived in. Changed out the crappy jack knife for double recliners, might add a second portable ac. This south Texas heat is terrible
