Converting seats in Ford E450 seats to Swivel. Any ideas?

Hi, I'm an owner of a Winnebago Outlook 27D on a Ford Chassis E450. I'm wanting to add something to the seats to make them swivel. Has anyone done this to a Ford E450? If so, what product did you use and were you happy with them? Did you do the install yourself? Thanks, Cynthia

There is an ongoing post over on the RVLife Sportsmobile Forum about swivel seat bases https://www.sportsmobileforum.com/fo...hem-15888.html

I purchased a passenger-side swivel base from this listing and installed it myself. My MH has a power drivers seat and it cannot rotate it so it was not changed.

Swivel

My unit is build on a Chevy Express.
I just installed a swivel plate the other day.
I posted on this in a different thread. https://www.irv2.com/forums/f59/what...ml#post5428205

You may find what you need from this Supplier, that offers kits for all types of seats and swivel bases.

I did the same with my 2017 chassis Ford on the passenger side only. Works great. Installed it myself easily except I had to buy a larger torque wrench. Id remember it was a 55.

We did both seats and with some careful wire routing the seat sensors remain plugged in.

I purchased the same base for my passenger seat (2007 Cambria 26A) and did the strategic wiring so no unplug is needed when swiveling. I bored a small hole (large enough for the plug--in the side of the base.

That would be a #55 Torx Plus Socket, not a torque wrench. This is what I used https://www.amazon.com/CTA-Tools-961...0091655&sr=8-3
