Corner bed width

Hi
I’m looking at purchasing an older Class C from 24 to 26 feet in length. I’ve seen a few nice 1992 to 1997 models mostly with corner beds. What is a normal width of a corner bed for these models. I have seen some listed as narrow as 48 inches and if that’s the norm I will probably have to look at a longer RV. Just as a reference I have been RV’ing for 53 years and presently own a 34 ft. Class A but really want to down size. I know I’m going to have to sacrifice tank capacities but not sure I’m willing to compromise much on bed size. Thanks

The bed in our 2005 Winnebago Aspect is 54"x 75". We bought a sleep number mattress for it last year and they had one that was a perfect fit. It's cozy and a challenge to get in and out of, but not bad once you get used to it.

Corner bed width

Thank you for the replies. 54 inches is a full size bed and would be fine. 48 inches would be too small. At least I know they are out there. Thanks

These are the measurements for newer motor homes, may not be the same for an older one.

We had a Born Free 26' RSB rear side bed and it's mattress was only 48" wide. I can't remember for certain, but think it was about a 2003. Also it ran the long length so that if you try to sleep two people in it, not only is it very cozy, but one would have to crawl over the other to use the bathroom at night. That was the main reason we sold it.
