Do you have a 2013-14 Leprechaun?

Do you have a 2013 or 2014 Coachmen Leprechaun or do you know someone who does? I have discovered what I believe is a widespread water intrusion issue in these coaches. I am trying to track down just how widespread this problem is and make other owners aware of what to look for before they are out of warranty. Are any of you having water intrusion issues in the front cap of your Leprechaun?

That model has one piece front cap? How is the water getting in?

You are correct in that it has a one piece fiberglass cap. There seems to be multiple places where water gets in, some farther back on the roof, and then it works its way to the front. Once it gets into the cap it stays there and pools because it holds water in just as efficiently as it holds water out. Here is a YouTube video of what happened with mine.

I was recently in the process of choosing between two previously loved rigs, one a '14 Leprechaun. I posted a question about some water in the over cab bed and the dealers excuse of the vent was open. Some great members on here pointed me to relavant posts on this and other forums. Many with photos. It became the main reason we decided not to purchase it.

If you haven't already I would use the search on here and other similar forums.

mdpolakow - Yup. I recall you asking. I had read the OP's (horror) story on another forum. I believe I steered you to that forum to read the report.

OP - Great job. I know it doesn't help your situation. But the more people you can notify it will help others. And, hopefully someday, force Coachmen to step up and do the right thing.
