Door Difficult to close in winter cold temps

WE have a 2019 Coachmen Leprechaun Ford E450 chassis 32'. The main entry door in the wintertime is difficult to close. It is definitely related to temperature, perhaps metal expanding or contracting. Easy to open when hot temps, very difficult when close to freezing temps. Any one else have this problem or have suggestions on fixing it. Thanks.

Might be something as simple as lubricating the door latch.

If the door has a shock assist, temperature will hamper its operation.

I RECOMMEND SILICONE SPRAY, use it in the lock, on the latch bolt, in the key holes, on the strike plate at the frame, and on the hinge. You can also use on SLIDE SEALS, SLIDE GEARS, CARGO LOCKS and EMERGENCY EXIT LATCHES AND GASKETS. Good Luck
