Drivers Seat Replacement

Hello All,

I am looking for suggestions / experience from anyone on replacing the drivers seat in my E-450 C-class. The RV just rolled over 50K miles, but the drivers seat feels like it has 4 times at in wear. It is very uncomfortable for more than an hour of driving and I'm wanting to replace it with one that has better lumbar support, side and hip bolsters.

I am auto mechanic by trade and have scoured the salvage yards
near me looking for something that would basically plug and play. To date, everything I have been interested in would require a lot of fab work.

I'm looking for ideas from this group on an OEM or aftermarket solution to this problem.

TIA for any suggestions,
Eddie

I have read where some replaced with Ford Arostar for size and comfort but don't know about fab involved.

Any O.E.M. econoline seat should be plug and play from 1997 to 2009.

What about taking it to an upholstery shop. They would be able to customize the seat to your needs then reupholster. We did our two front chairs and very happy with the result.
