E450 termination of hot lead to 7-pin trailer connector
I was getting ready to tow our new Toad behind our 2006 Ford E450 Coach House 272XL. I was testing for the 12V "hot" lead in the 7-pin connector on the RV and did not find any power on the pin. All other wires test correctly except for this hot lead. The hot pin is wired inside the connector and the wire disappears into wire looms with many other wires.
I'm been trying to figure out where this hot lead terminates up front. I was going to test fuses and lose connections but don't know where that wire is terminated. I assume a fuse and relay in the main fuse panel under the hood, but the Ford fuse box info does not appear correct.
Any experience with this????
