All I can say is that you should consider alternatives. When you get near the east coast megolpolis, toll roads abound. For the cost of tolls, we have found that we could rent cars when needed for less than the cost of additional tolls.

Cherry Hill in DC has a bus stop right inside the park. We stayed there two winters ago for a week. Nice park, but a bit pricey. It is convenient for the use of public transit. No Uber or car rental required.

Personally if I had a 24 ft I’d forgo the toad and get the Uber app, or plan ahead for getting a rental, but you can go a lot of places with your unit. As far as places to stay along the way...
If you’re going to the Outer Banks, there is a nice KOA there and they do a good job. A couple of nice places to eat just outside the entrance.
If you’re going to the Myrtle Beach area, then either MB State Park or Huntington Beach State Park (across from Brookgreen Gardens which is a nice place to spend an afternoon) are excellent and rather close to good seafood, great golf courses (if you do) and not far from all the shopping you care to do.
In Charleston look at James Island County Park, they have a shuttle to downtown.

Thanks for all the great information. We are leaning toward not taking the Honda seems like we can do what we want to do without taking it. I did weigh the Honda while back in Oklahoma just pulled into the scales at the local CO-OP got to love small towns.3900# fully loaded with me and a bunch of stuff from our 37 footer. So now I know where we are with that.

Been there, done that...Washington is easy, stay at Cherry Hill Park in College Park MD. Then drive 3 miles to the Green Belt metro station park, park in the south/west parking lot. Take the Metro into DC. About 1hr.
Here is where the RV's park. https://goo.gl/maps/91troZdhFVy

How about a bicycle, that will give you a 2-3 mile range from your MH to explore. If you are into getting a moped for 2, that will give you a 20 mile range. I would also plan your CG's based on public transportation and Uber.
We have a motorcycle with us as full timers and it is very handy to get around SF and NYC. I can usually find a parking spot anywhere upfront close to my destination and big city side roads are easy to transit, staying off the X-Ways.

In my humble opinion, you do not want a car anywhere near DC or manhattan. The trains are great!
