There are usually fuses at the distribution panel and also fuses in the fan housing on the ceiling. Besides turning the fan switch to on, they often have a thermostat that needs to be turned up so the fan runs. If the rooftop lid doesn't open automatically, some fan models won't come on if the lid is closed.

Look up your fan make and model on Google, you'll find an owner's manual.

Sometimes the lid switch will not make contact, usually after rv sits for a couple of months, open a nd close the lid a couple of times fast, might make the lid switch work again

Do you mean the house main panel? Many folks don't know there is a House fuse panel and perhaps two Chassis fuse panels. Rather than expend energy tracking down fuses, have you checked for 12v at the fan switch? Some RVs also have a wall switch that controls the fan so you don't have to reach up to the vent. More likely the settings on the fan are causing the issue, vent open, thermostat, etc. Look up the fan manual. Since you haven't identified it to us, I can only guess.
