Extended warranty question??

I have a Winnebago Aspect 30 J 2014 - looking to perhaps invest in an extended warranty. Any info would be appreciated!

I'm probably going with GoodSam. I verified w/ my Jayco servicing dealer that they don't have a bad time dealing w/ GoodSam. Good enough for me.

Woodview,

Just understand this is "a insurance policy" and not a warranty, and as such you must follow the pre authorization procedures exactly or the claim can be denied.

I just checked prices yesterday, comparing my Route 66 extended service plan with GoodSam. I paid $1899 for 7 years and includes emergency road service. Good Sam wanted $650+ per year on same rv, rockwood 8282 5er.
Good Sam had $200 deductible. I have $100, plus if work is done at one of their Route 66 dealers, they reduce the deductible by $66.
I stayed with Route 66. Haven't used it yet tho. ???

Can't say I recommend route 66 because I haven't needed them (knock on wood). But its worth checking out as long as one is comparing. Good website. 140+ route 66 dealers around the u.s. with member discounts on parts and accessories.

I have the route 66 plan and used it last week for a propane leak. They found the regulator was bad and a line leak to the hot water tank. My total cost was $34.00.

Good to hear. I replaced a thermostat last week but paid $62.00 cash because i'd have had to make a service appointment, wait for my turn, tow the unit 70 miles to the closest Route 66 dealer to have them diagnose it. Then ext warranty would have paid $28 of it. Not worth it for that. I'm happy with the coverage tho.
