Question Fair offer '02 Fleetwood Tioga M-24D-Ford 6.8L(?)

Looking for advice regarding how much over used NADA RV prices would be too much to offer/pay in the current 2020 used RV market(?) Found a '02 Fleetwood Tiogoa M-24D-Ford 6.8L (25ft) that falls close to my budget. NADA shows $5300 - $6500 Low/Avg retail and the seller's asking $11,500 with 110K on the OD... curious to know what some of you would consider a fair offer taking into cosideration the Tioga is a 7 on a scale of 1-10(?) - Thanks!

Hard to say because used values are inflated right now and NADA does not reflect that. It's worth what you are willing to pay based on how much you like it. Resell value is not really relevant.

Appreciate the reply! Figures, after saving up for a few years & making plans to buy a used RV (my 1st) in the Summer/Fall off 2020, that a pandemic (of all things) would come along and actaully cause the RV market to turn red hot...

I get, "it is what it is" but wow $5k/100% over used avg NADA definately stings a bit.

With a little luck, maybe someone will chime in that recently bought a similar used RV/Fleetwood and maybe mention what they paid and/or mention how the haggling went between owner and buyer...(?)...

We purchased in 2017 a 2000 Tioga 24D w/ V10 with 15K original miles , garage kept it's entire life by original owner. Cosmetically it was near perfect .
NADA high book was $13K , he wanted $17K.

After reviewing cost of full set of new tires ( it still had the factory original tires on it ! ) , new serpentine fan belt , changing ALL fluids , Brakes gone through , front end check and alignment , new spark plugs ( can be an issue ) .

We deducted costs to get it Safely back on the road and deducted them from his asking price .

Got it for $13K.

Never hurts to aggressively negotiate especially when the rig has over 100K on the odometer.

Good luck , we're very happy with the coach.
