Since Wednesday my batteries have dropped 1/4 charge according to my panel. Does anyone think it's related. I turned off my main power switch... See if it happens more.

If one battery is no good (might even be original) and other one is new.... Could that explain some of the grief?

Yup..The "old" battery will drag down the "new" one to the "old" ones level....Always change all batteries in a bank at the same time..

It will get less complicated as you learn how things work.

First you need to separate your thinking for 120 vac from 12 vdc.

On our MH, all the 120 vac work when on shore power or the generator.

When on battery, only some of the circuits get 120 vac from the inverter. There are 120 vac breakers three location. Two breakers supply power from the generator. There are 120 vac breakers on the inverters.

There there is panel that distributes power with 120 vac breakers and 12 vdc. Then I have 12 vdc fueses all over the place.

To add to the last comment remember certain RV appliances require both AC and DC to operate. The RV air conditioner is one example, AC is required to power the fan and compressor and DC is required to power the logic board and the thermostat. Much the same with the RV refrigerator, they will generally run on either propane or AC, but also require DC for the control board to function.
