Ford E450 Seat Covers

Our 2013 Forest River Forester has been driven about 38,000 miles. The seats are very comfortable but are starting to show just a bit of wear. We'd like to be proactive and are considering seat covers. Have any owners put on seat covers, and are there any out there of good quality? Thanks in advance for any help.

Can you post a picture of your seats?

The BEST seat covers I ever found for my RV (it fits like an absolute glove) ironically states on the Amazon web page "Not for RVs"...lol. It looked identical to mine and I took a chance.

https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B084WVK4DD

Says it fits 2009 to 2015 E150 to E350....but it fits my 2015 E450 perfectly.

I struggled and struggled to find just the right seat covers (was surprisingly difficult). So when I found these and they fit so good I felt like I won the lottery....

Good luck!
Chris

Let me know if it works!

I found it funny that the ONLY seat cover that worked for me after trying or looking at several is the one that specifically says "Not for RV seats"! They fit mine like a glove!

Good luck!

The link also says they're not for use in RVs where the factory seats have been replaced. A number of manufacturers using an E350/E450 chassis will buy it without the OEM seats and install their own. They might or might not be the same size or style.

Hi, finally going to order those seat covers. They are the brown color shown, right? A little confusing as they shoe a grey further down.

Expounding on this......

RV manufactures purchase an RV-specific packaged chassis from Ford. It comes with these deviations.

- no seats (has a disposable mounted cafeteria seat for "lot" driving.
- no outside mirrors
- no floor covering
- no headliner
- no rear wall
- no radio (radio is optional)
- has two different lengths of antennas (shorter one to clear class C over-hang)
- has a higher amperage alternator
- has creatures comforts like a/c, power windows, power door locks, cruise control
- has decorative front styling (chrome grille and such)
- has rear harness extension (for RV tail lights and towing electricals)

I am missing much, but you get the idea.

Here is a picture of a chassis on an RV assembly line. Unfortunately it does not show the lower area with the disposed of cafeteria seat and bare steel floor.

So when you are talking about seat covers, it will be a hit-or-miss having them fit nicely on your particular "RV manufacture supplied" seats.

I imagine they can come in different colors so read the description carefully.

These are the ones I ordered:

Mine are a brownish-tan color, somewhat comparable to what the original fabric looked like. They have held up nicely. You can also wipe them clean if they get dirty.

Hope yours fit as nicely as mine did!

So SJ-Chris…….do you have any actual photos of the seat covers you bought in place in your rig?

LOL...funny that you ask. Yesterday when I posted I was searching and searching for a picture because I specifically took one when this thread started...but I couldn't find it. I will look again or go take a new photo and post it.
