Hi, I'm looking for some information from those of you who are going with the new Ford 7.3 gas engine instead of the Diesel engine. I'm looking to flat tow my 1/2 ton Silverado and am curious about mountain climbing power? I have been looking at the Dynamax Isata 5 36 DS. Thanks, Ken

Nothing beats a diesel for torque. But if you let the engine rev to 3,500-4000 rpm going up a mountain pass the Ford V8 should work fine.
Use the tow/haul button which keeps the engine in lower gears or drop the shift lever down into manual mode and select the gear you want with the +/- buttons.
