Inquired at Bates Ford in Lebanon, Tn. on this recall and was told I would have to leave motorhome there for several days. Not going to happen! Will find another Ford dealer.

You need to find a Ford dealership that works on heavy trucks larger than the F350. In Knoxville it is Ted Russell Ford on Parkside Drive not to be confused with Ted Russell Ford on Kingston Pike. The one on Kingston Pike does not work large trucks like the F550, F650, etc.

Nobody will touch it
Called 7 Ford dealers (including an AutoNation Ford) in the Houston area for the E450 power steering recall. As soon as I identify the vehicle as a motorhome, nobody will touch it: "We don't work on those, they're too heavy to lift."
So I called Ford support - the phone menu asks you to key in the recall number (22S08, using 7 to represent S). The reply: "that recall is not in our system."
Finally got through to a support person, who was less than helpful. She referred me to the same dealers I'd already called.
So I'll start over on the dealers and describe the vehicle as a 34' box truck.

Ted Russel is actually sending out techs to people's home to check the recall. Friend just had theirs done that way. Very good strategy. One tech driving around not taking any shop time away from making good repair money and still checking the recalls.

My motorhome has been at Ford dealership for over 2 weeks. They are only dealer that will work on large trucks within 60 miles of me and cannot handle all of the work.

Anyone know how prevalent is it? Also I guess I haven't looked a new vehicle carefully in a while. Since when did they combine brake and steering hydraulics?

35k on my 7.3 and I am hoping for the trifecta recall fix also, so far nothing but great things to say about my engine.

Some motorhomes are accepted at regular Ford dealerships. Naturally it will depend on the size. Our rig HERE seems to be an acceptable size because the few times we were a dealerships, they had no issues.

I just called Ted Russell Ford Parkside Drive here in Knoxville to schedule an inspection of the power steering lines on our 2022 Quantum JM31 built on a 2021 Ford E450 chassis. I have a recall letter from Ford. We ordered the coach in Jan 2021 and picked it up in Florida on May 20, 2021. The coach was built in Indiana. The lady at the dealership ask for our VIN number and replied that the recall had already been done in April 2021 at a Ford dealership in Texas. We have never had this coach to any dealership Ford or otherwise since picking it up. It puzzles me how this can be unless Thor did the inspection at the factory and somehow used the Ford dealership in Texas to document the fact. We received an email from Matt Sibbick at the factory on April 12, 2021 stating that our coach was already in production.

Recall by VIN
"the recall had already been done in April 2021 at a Ford dealership in Texas. "
You can check recall status for a specific vehicle by entering the VIN into the search box: https://www.ford.com/support/recalls/
