Forest River 3010DS Sunseeker vs Coachman Leprechaun 319MB

It's been a few weeks since I've walked thru the Leprechaun. Today I walked thru the Sunseeker. So is this like A GM vs Chevy comparison? They seem very similar. Same Motor and chassis.
Is one better underneath? Is one safer?
Anything special about one over the other?
Just want to make sure. If they are basically the same, that gives me some leverage locally when/if the negotiations begin.

Both are owned by the same company, but perhaps the manufacturing plants are different.

As an aside, Sunseeker and Forester are identical except for the Forester sometimes comes with slightly upgraded offerings standard. Think Ford vs Mercury back in the day.

Coachman verses Sunseeker would be more like Chevy verses Buick. Same manufacturer with several shared components but some different designs.

You may want to check out Winnebago/Itasca, Nexus and Fleetwood as well for reference.

Hi Larry. We were bouncing back and forth between these same two units and went with the Sunseeker 3010. What we liked about the Sunseeker; fiberglass roof resistent to tree branch scrapes, slide toppers are standard, overhead cabinets the full dinette / theatre seat slide length, tv is above the kitchen counter and has storage behind it, underbelly is enclosed so your black/grey valves are in a compartment and Sunseeker offered the big 4 door fridge with ice maker. For is, the quality loooked about the same, so it was these features we liked.

We liked Sunseeker too. However our C ownership was a Jayco. Worthy of your time to consider. It really comes down to floor plan, price and dealer for service.
