Does anyone have experience good or bad with 2001 Four Winds "C" ?? I have an opportunity to purchase one 31' with 11K, new tires 100 hrs on gen-fully loaded for 29K. Will be going for a test ride this afternoon. Is rubber roof standard ?Any help or advice about this model or year would be appreciated is price in ball park.

Sounds like a nice rig but be very sure to test the generator under load. That is mighty few hours on the generator and they have a nasty habit of gunking up when not run regularly under load.

First do a complete walkaround and check everything, and I do mean everything, inside and out, from sewer connections to doors and latches. Look for any water spots, etc.
I would plan on having the generator serviced so that you have a good known start point, also LOF for same reason. The dealer should be willing to do this as part of a presale.
