Fuel tank won’t fill

The front tank on our 2017 Thor Super C just won’t take fuel. Any ideas?

Has it always been this way or did it just start? Since it is a 2017, have you contacted the dealer or Thor support?

It won't take any fuel at all or just is slow to fill and causes the nozzle to shut off? If it shuts down the nozzle, check underneath and try to see the flexible hose that connects the side fill with the tank. It could have a twist or narrowed spot in it that is resisting fuel flow.

Assuming you mean the pumps shut off too soon this is most likely the evap canister being defective. Thank the emission controls.

slow gas fill

Hi, we have a thor freedom elite 29fe.
Search on the thor forum.
I found no twisted lines, but the vent line had a 1 inch dip below the fill line.
I removed and shortened the line by 8 inches.
Fills fine now.
Hope this works for you.
Happy trails!

Haven’t been able to look yet, but thanks for the ideas. Hopefully over the weekend.

There is definitely a dimple in the hose due to the bend from the filler neck down to the tank inlet. I tried to work it out by loosening the hose clamps, but it seems more due to the bend. Would a sturdier hose help?

That dimple could be causing turbulence that causes the pump nozzle to shut down. Many auto parts stores sell metal spring coils that can be put on the hose and prevent it from collapsing.
