Those volt gauges are seldom accurate.

While 130 Volts is in the acceptable range, you could do a simple voltage test at any receptacle with a Kill-A-Watt meter or any voltage tester to confirm the accuracy of the gauge.

130 Volts is NOT in the acceptable range.
Look at the table for his generator in post #27 of this thread.

Subford, sorry. I missed your post #27.

Armed with that info, I would confirm with a Kill-A-Watt that the volt gauge is reporting accurately.

If it is, then a guess is that the governor control module or the voltage regulator is acting up. Possibly cleaning up connections might help.

When I had to replace those items, I went to:
