Generator and GFCI

When we are "off-grid" with our MH, it seems that our GFCI outlets trip wherever we use the generator. Does this indicate a problem somewhere, or is it normal?

It means something isn't right. Does your Nexus have automatic transfer switch or do you have to plug your shore power cord into an outlet from the generator?

New problem or has it always done this?

Suspicion that there is some active load downstream of the GFCI that has issues? Will it RESET OK, after GEN comes online? GFI TRIPS when it see a DIFFERENCE (Delta) in current between hot/ neutral... NOT from 3rd wire ground current. WHAT all goes off when tripped? Residential Refrig? Washing Machine? Dishwasher?
