Gravity fill?

Hi. I have a Renegade Verona LE, 2019. I want to sanitize the water tank but I don’t know where the “gravity fill” is that’s mentioned in the Owner’s Manual. Is there someone out there who can help me out?

I assume they're talking about where you stick the hose in to fill up your freshwater tank with water. And that should be somewhere on the outside of the RV behind a little door that's about 6 x 6 and locks with a key. But it could be inside of a basement storage compartment somewhere. But the main thing is you won't be able to screw a hose on to it, that would pressurize the tank and damage things. Just stick the end of the hose in the hole.

As of late, some motor homes are made without a gravity water fill. You have to hook up the hose to the rig and rotate a valve to fill the fresh water tank.

I have no idea how to add chlorine in the tank to disinfect the fresh water system. Maybe there is a contraption to hook up between the hose and house.

It doesn't take that much chlorine. I drain the water out of the hose and pour about half a cup down the hose before I hook it up.

My View did not have a gravity fill. I would hold the hose up and pour chlorine down the hose, then attach it and turn the water on.

The gravity fill is probably behind a locked door as mentioned by others. DO NOT just shove the hose in it, it blocks the air trying to escape, make or buy an adapter.

Hope the image is not too big. anyhow, I made mine from hose and fittings I bought, it needs to allow the air to escape easily when filling. My filler actually goes uphill then down to the tank so I made a long one that goes all the way to the tank.

I remove the filter cartridge fom the water filter in the wet bay, add bleach to the canister, reinstall and fill the tank from the city water supply.
