I'm happy with my Dyson V6 - don't know that I'd buy it at today's prices though - over $400 for a used one on Amazon. Other Dysons are similarly high priced. They do work well and hold up over time (I also have a Dyson upright for the house, don't remember the model number) but the prices -

We ended up buying a Shark Rocket a couple or three years ago which has worked well. It is 120 volt corded model but that's what I wanted since it stays in the camper and is not used very often. It has the motorized brush head and came with extensions to use like an upright if we want.

Here's a link to one like ours but I wasn't able to find it for sell after performing a quick search just now.

When we went FT we bought a Eureka Lightweight Bagless for $40 at Walmart

Tough little vacuum cleaner...carpet/floors
12" wide so it was easy to use inside the RV and was under 10#
20' cord so outlet mid RV allowed for cleaning front to rear

7 yrs later we donated it to Senior Center when we bought S&B and Larger Vacuum Cleaner

Todays version is $60 at Walmart

Went to Walmart as well for an inexpensive upright. Most of flooring is tile anyway so don’t need a super suction expensive vacuum. We have a central vac in the coach but never use it. Just to painful. That’s an option manufacturers could do away with.

Since I have mostly Ryobi battery tools, I also bought their 18v vac. It really sucks up the sand and gravel that most handvacs leave behind. Plus I can use the battery for the drill and air pump.

We have ryobi 18v (PLUS ONE) saw and drill plus charger. Sounds like a vacuum would be a good addition

Love my Dyson V10, except for the price. Looks like a similar Shark is a little less.

I've used a Eufy HomeVac S11 for about a year. Cordless, light, powerful enough and easily converts from stand up to hand vac.

We do not have an RV vacuum, although I have suggested we should.

We have a Shark battery at the house, Works great, and with the ability to take the vacuum off the floor brush and put various attachments, I use it around the house and truck extensively.

I found the Ryobi unit to be labeled very confusing.

A brushless unit with a brush head. Of course, motor is brushless, but someone at HD really needs to read their website.

My wife loves her cordless vac. She has the same one at the house (actually 2, one for upstairs and one for downstairs). Our daughter has the same one. Works a treat.

I am currently carrying around a corded Hoover Porta Power vac that must be 50 years old, yet you can still buy replacement cloth bags and other parts for it. It is the loudest vac I have ever seen. Mine is Beige. Actually I have two of them, one I inherited from my dad, we were using it when I was 16 (and now am 66) and the other I bought at a yard sale about 20 years ago.

If I buy a cordless one it will be a Makita since I have something like a dozen Makita 18v batteries and several power tools. Bought a 7¼ inch circular saw, got 4 batteries with it. Bought a weed eater and got 4 batteries with it, have other batteries from earlier tools.

They still make them. Hoover Portapower

Dont know what size coach you have but I bought a cheap rechargeable Black and Decker handheld. Works great on my small coach with no carpeting and can be used in the toad as well. No muss no fuss....
