Handling issues, questions
Hi, I’ve had my rv over 7 yrs and have always towed a vehicle behind it wether by tow dolly or flat towed, and have never had handling issues to the point of it feels like I’m gonna lose control. When I got my rv I replaced all the tires with brand new ones, which were great until last year I had a blow out. Being that the tires were about 6 years old. I decided to replace them all. Now when towing it feels squishy if that makes sense, and I am not comfortable driving with my family. If anyone could give me an idea as to why this might be happening would be amazingly helpful. 🙏

First suspect is proper inflation.
Tell us what tire you have, PSI you are running and axle weights, or if you don't have actual axle weights what coach/chassis and GAWR from your GVWR plaque.

In addition to what Brett says check to see that the replacement tires are the same size and load rating as the original tires. Sounds like the sidewall stiffness of your current tires is less than what you previously had. Could be low air pressure, profile is wrong, or load rating is wrong.

Check the production date on the tire sidewall ( you may have to go under the RV ; because the date is only on one side ) .
I had to replace tires mid way through a cross country trip , on my last truck towing a 5th wheel .
The tires I got were less than 6 weeks old and I don't believe the rubber was fully cured ; because even with proper inflation the truck felt like it was on ice , until the tires had a dozen heat cycles on them .

I’m suspecting they put all tires at 80 psi. Front gawr 4600 lbs
65 psi cold
Rear gawr 9450 lbs
80psi cold
The gbwr is14050
I called discount tire and asked the difference between my current tires and my old ones and they told me the only difference is the old ones were all terrain and the new ones are highway.

I would check myself and not take the tire shop's word. You just need to look at the tire sidewall to see the load range and see if it matches the sticker on the vehicle door jamb.
