Hankook dynapro tires

I recently bought a 2018 class C on an E 450 chassis. It has hankook dynapro 225 75R 16 tires. I don't know a lot about hankook tires, I'm looking for some info....are they great? are there issues? I'm thinking about putting 245 tires on for a little more safety margin, has anyone done this. Thanks Tom

Hankook tires are good and seem to wear well. About changing tire size, I would suggest that you not do that. Because there are several control modules that are relying on the correct revolutions per mile and cannot be changed in all of those modules. Incorrect tire sizes will have a negative impact on more issues than speedometer. Ask your local Ford dealer service department.

Hankook is supplied by Ford from the factory on many truck models.

If you want to pick up some capacity in the tires, go to a Euro C tire in the 225/75R16 size. These are made by Michelin as the AGILIS® ALPIN® p/n 18018, which will NOT be marked as LT but rather will be followed by a C, which means Commercial or Cargo, and is a European spec tire for the Ram Promaster and other Euro Vans. It has a load rating of 3195 lbs at 83 psi vs your current tires 2680 at 80 psi. Only other manufacturers at the present are Nexten Rodian CT8 HL p/n 15386 and Continetal's VancoFourSeason™ p/n 4733350000.

Replaced the Michelins on my Honda Odyssey Touring with Hankooks and love them. Better ride, quieter and better wear. When its time, I'll replace the Michelins on my rig with Hankooks as well.
