We spent a few nights at Boyd's beginning May 5. We had a waterfront site, and the view of anchored boats from the back window was priceless. You can hardly get closer to Key West's attractions than Boyd's. Well worth the trip.

This is our last night at Blue water RV resort. It is a true RESORT :-). This is probably the best RV park anywhere. We have a tiki, private site on the canal, dock, frig and sink in tiki. Can't beat it ever! Glad you enjoyed Boyd's. we really have enjoyed Blue Water.

Bluewater RV Park was the nicest RV park that Susan and I have ever stayed in. We were in site 63 and even though the owner locked up the service area of his Tiki, it was still a piece of heaven. Debbie, your site was on the canal side, what was the number of your site? What did it cost you if you don't mind? We paid $96.00 per night and the 7th was free. Well worth the money! All of those sites were amazing no matter where you were parked. We were kind of sad to leave the morning we pulled out but it was actually the start of our new adventure to Tampa.

We were in lot 16 and our friend was in lot 8. Both on the canal. We paid cash so it worked out to be $68 per night, I think. Well worth it. We were there for 8 nights. When we left, we stayed in a friends driveway in Tampa, then headed back to Nola. Great time 😃

Fantastic, glad to hear that you had such a good time, Susan and I loved every minute of our stay in BW RV Park. That was the first time that I had been to Florida, I'm pretty certain that I could live there all year around if I could.

Thanks to all for your contributions to this thread. This was a magnificent discussion with some really meaningful dialogue. I just want to say that once I get behind the wheel of my RV, it makes me feel as though I am free of all of life's offerings and I am completely at ease. Next year will only be small trips around our area as we have decided to go to an all inclusive in the Dominican Republic but the year after, the road will once again belong to my Sunseeker. That is exactly what we will do, seek the sun. Cheers all.

Hi everyone - we are renting a house in Islamorada in Aug and will be scouting out RV parks for next summer (looking at a 32ft Class C).
Does Blue Water and the other park mentioned have any beach or swimming areas for kids?

Thanks!!

The KOA at MM20 has a good swimming area and a nice pool. Don't know about Bluewater.

The Keys really don't have great beaches, at least not like the rest of the state of Florida. It is rocky. Bluewater has a pool. They have little docks as well, so I guess you can swim if you want!

Don't know about Boyds but Bluewater RV has individual docks, no beach area per say. Susan and I explored Bahia Honda State Park, they have a nice campground with beautiful beach areas at both ends of the park. In fact, it is supposed to be one of the top places to snorkel. I would definitely camp there, being a State Park I would have to say that the prices would be good as well. Good Luck.
