Help with Brake and Signal lights
I have a 2019 Class C Entegra (Jayco) Odyssey 26D on a Ford E-450 Chassis. Having intermittent problem with Driver side Brake light, Turn signal, and Emergency flasher. Passenger side works normally as does the Driver side Tail light. Towing or not towing makes no difference. Light fixture is LED and it is sealed (caulked) in so I haven’t had the fixture itself removed yet.
I check lights before leaving storage area or campground and they are fine. Next time I stop for gas, rest area, or my destination, they don’t work. As I say this is an intermittent problem. Sometimes they do work.
I’ve been to a couple of dealers and independent shops to no avail. Has anybody had a similar problem fixed or do you have any suggestions?

The single most common issue is a poor ground. The body is not metal and the tail/stop lamp is not metal either. The bulbs need to be supplied a ground wire to the metal chassis underneath.
Depending on how your coach is constructed, the best answer is to run a ground wire to the frame with an eye terminal to a convenient bolt. Splice that added wire to the bulb base metal. Adding a ground improves the connection. No need to do anything with the original ground unless you can't add a new one. If you have to fix it, trace it to it's ground connection and clean it. Be sure it's connection to bulbs base metal is tight.
Because you have LED's, they are even more sensitive to power loss. They consume so little compared to incandescent bulbs.

Thanks for your advice. I can't see a way to get to the bulb base without removing the entire fixture and that won't be easy but it may be the solution. Thanks again.

Could you post a picture of the fixture with lens removed. I might be able to offer a suggestion.

If it is LED, I doubt there is a lens to remove as they are usually all sealed up. I think you are going to have to bite the bullet and remove the light so you can get a look at what's going on behind at the wiring. It is likely a loose wire or some corrosion. Without pulling the light you will only have guesses. Have a multimeter handy so you can trouble shoot once you pull it.
Oh ya, and have come sealant ready to re-seal once you are confident the issue is solved.

If you can get to the back side of the light in question, then follow the wires and look for a ground spot and remove and clean it and reinstall ground screw.

Thanks for the advice guys. I have some current health issues so I took it to a shop. They did indeed pull the light fixture while I was there. Wiring looked good. Looked almost brand new! They will check wiring, ground, corrosion, voltage etc. I am waiting to hear back from them. Unfortunately this is an intermittent problem. It was working when i left my storage area and still working when I got to the shop. Usually after I drive a while it stops working but not this time! Hope to get an update tomorrow.
