Hot Water holding tank

Ok Im all hook-up at the campsite, with only one little problem. I hooked city water direct to the camper. I got water comming out of both hot and cold fascets. except the hot water holding tank is not filling up. Now the question is. Do I need to fill up the holding tank and run compressor to fill up the hot water tank? or is there another valve somewhere I dont know about that bi-passes this.

Source of pressure doesn't matter as long as there is some pressure. Agree that it must be a bypass valve somewhere. I had the same problem first time out with my Dad's RV. Took me a couple days to find it under the bathroom sink behind a small panel that was screwed in. Was getting a little ripe by then.

Most newer rigs have it in the wet bay.

Maybe post your year and model if you are still having trouble finding it.

Yes we found it, I had to remove a drawer underneath oven. And presto there they were. One would think they would have put that in the manual. We spent a week in the MH and was great. Thanks
