How do I change my dash ignition out?

LooI have a 1974 dodge tioga. The ignition is on the dash. How do I get the cylinder and everything out? Please any help appreciated. I got a new ignition and can't change it. Trying to get it moved before I incur fees. Thanks all

Boy you're making it tough on an old guy , my memory isn't what it used to be when I owned a new 1973 Maxi van.

Hopefully your new ignition switch has the tumbler and keys , then you'll need to disconnect the battery and remove the dash gauge cluster .( 4 screws) pull the gauge panel out so you can reach behind to undo the speedo cable and electrical connectors one plug in and there should be two wires on the voltmeter that require a small wrench , mark those wires as to location .
You can then reach the back of the ignition switch to hold it while you turn the retaining nut on the front . Wiring on the switch is a plug in .
I'll see if I can track down a U tube video , on the Dodge , I know there out there for 70s Chevys , because without looking at the switch I can't remember how to remove the tumbler and key from the switch.

There is a vintage forum too right. Some of the old key switches had big nut on front "looks like trim ring"or back. I remember a few needed a spanner tool front trim had 2 or 4 very small holes to unscrew it.
He had start of those directions right on .
Disconnect the battery before poking vintage dash with volt or ampmeters . I had to rewire my 70 IH travavelall for PO he put the hood down on charger clamps ampmeter wires fried in bundle took a hand full with them. This old ampmeter wires had no fusable links. Every wire was black but numbered every few inches.
Ended up buying it , his 35' TT and load leveler hitch. Sold his mother in laws for as well.
