How to ensure items properly fixed after PDI?

Here in Tucson, AZ and I'm picking up my new-to-me 2021 Thor Four Winds 24F (Class C on a Ford E350) on Monday afternoon. I had an NRVIA inspector go through it and the consignment/dealer is fixing the important things. Chassis, brake and tire inspection will be done tomorrow morning by a local, highly rated auto shop. Overall, this has been a great experience and both the salesman and technician have been helpful and willing to make any corrections, but how do I know that the items will be fixed correctly during PDI? Can I add something to the final purchase contract that ensures it?

(I guess I'm left wondering why these items weren't already fixed when they initially accepted it on consignment. Surely they inspected it at that point?)
  1. Batteries are heavily corroded and not holding a charge so should they replace all of them?
  2. The solar and inverter were wired directly to the batteries without a fuse. They're fixing it.
  3. The awning covering the slide is torn and cracking throughout so they're replacing.
  4. The rear ladder is bent slightly but still useful. Ok to let it be?
  5. Oddly, the inspector wrote that when he ran the hot and cold in the bathroom, it was reversed (so hot on the right and cold on the left) but the dealership disagrees. I'll double check during pre-delivery walk-thru.
  6. Roof has some cracks (nothing unexpected) which they are spot sealing.
  7. Generator hours screen is inop. They are fixing.
  8. Dining table is missing so they've ordered a new one.

I'm excited and nervous all at the same time right now so any thoughts are appreciated. Once I pick up, I'm heading back to California to empty out a storage, then headed off to the east coast.

Pretty common for a consignment vehicle, nobody is going to fix anything till there is an offer/contract. The owner is the one who should have put it in saleable condition but often they just don't know what it needs. If I were in your shoes I would pay the inspector for a re-inspect of those items, it should not cost as much as the initial inspection.
Who is the highly rated auto shop?

I know the Scott family personally and did electrical work in their shop, very upstanding people.
