It would help to list the year, make and model of your motor home so those who own similar rigs can chime in.

It's not unusual to have to remove a piece of trim to access the back of a TV.

Best of luck.

We have a Forester with a flush mount TV in the main living area. It doesn't move either. The Forest River forum was helpful in stating ours had to be lifted straight up against the wall (then pull towards you) and it will come out of the wall bracket that holds it. It can take two to hold it as the cables remain attached. It's difficult to lift up, pull forward and hold it all at once but ours did come loose so we could reattach a cord that was loose.

You might try this and see if yours works like ours.
