Isata 3

I just sold my Isata 3 because there are so few Mercedes sprinter repair shops around (the closest one to my home is 135 miles away).
I am "spooked" by the thought of being in the middle of nowhere and having to have my MH towed a hundred miles or more to someplace where it could be fixed.
However, I really like the Isata 3!
Has anybody heard anything about Dynamax putting the Isata 3 on a Ford Transit chassis?

I have not heard of any change. WE had an Isata 3 for 2 years and put over 10,000 miles on it with no major problems.

We had it serviced many times at various Mercedes dealers around the country. For problems with the coach various RV dealers we able to help out.

BTW we loved the rig it was just too small for us.

Similar results as Momdoc, no problems after 30,000+ miles.
Assuming the Ford Transit CC/CA chassis becomes as robust as the Sprinter, it would make sense to use it, as it's probably more cost effective. However, I'd ask around at your nearby Ford dealers and see how many of the will work on one, that's underneath a motorhome. Not all Ford shops will work on them, based on past experience. It's usually a size/weight issue.
Also, you can be in the middle of nowhere in a Ford driven chassis, too, and the towing issue can be the same with a Ford.
