Apparently water siphoned out the overflow all the way to our campground and when we arrived it was down to a 1/3rd of tank. How do you prevent this from happening? On my old fifth wheel I had to put valves on the over flow to prevent the siphon effect… any help is appreciated!!
Greetings. Had the same issue with our Entegra 29v.
The fix is in the following quote - actually quite EZ - and covered by Jayco. Below is Jayco’s response to Chuck, another RVer who shared this on the internet which I used at dealership to achieve a warranty repair.

By Chuck: Here is the response I received from Jayco.
“ Good afternoon Chuck. The siphoning of water from tanks is a common occurrence as they are not intended to be traveled Long distances with a full tank. This can be rectified easily by attaching a rubber extension and a hose clamp to the overflow and securing the hose to the frame via eye Loop. You may contact the dealership to have this addressed and filed as a warrantable repair.”

Hope this helps, Mike

Hmmmm... (Another possibility?) VENT hose has dip, and hose was holding water (=water trap= SHOULD NOT HAVE) , and it blew out that water when tank reached 1/3-tank? Did you CHECK/VERIFY gage reading after filling? A VENT (with no tube into the water in the tank) =CANNOT SIPHON
