I think that's just an overly-cautious lawyer statement to get them out of any liability. As far as I know there might be a few tunnels that want you to turn off your propane, but I don't know of any Statewide laws that require it while driving. Plus if your engine ran off propane it would be really hard to drive with the valve turned off.

On Washington State Ferries they require the propane to be turned off on MH's , RV trailers and 5er's . They go so far as giving a red placard to place on the dash board to show the deck hands you've been notified and have complied with the requirement .
I questioned why and was told it's a Carbon Monoxide issue . Vehicles powered by propane are not an issue since all vehicles are required to be turned off when on the ferry during travel.

I wonder how your fridge is supposed to operate during a multi-day ferry ride, like from Seattle to Anchorage. Maybe plan accordingly, carry no perishables.

LP is lighter then air and will sink to lowest place
Ferries engine rooms are below the cargo deck

I woulda had trouble blaming that on predictve text, autocorrect or just a fat finger mistake on my phone. But that doesn't mean I might not have tried it.[emoji56]

Don't think so.
I have been thru Delaware a bunch of times, by bridge and ferry, and if it was required, there would be some kind of signage telling drivers that.

I don't think you can believe any signs you see in Delaware.
Alan Funt's Candid Camera crew once put up a big sign next to the highway saying "DELAWARE IS CLOSED." They had a big long line of cars with driver's asking why it was closed and when it would be reopened.[emoji848]
